Kuldeep Singh Rajput
Founder & CEO
Gándharví is the brainchild of Bangalore-born, Boston-based Kuldeep Singh Rajput. The founder and CEO of Bioformis, a digital therapeutics company that utilises AI to aid patients with complex chronic conditions, Rajput established Gándharví with the intention of building a boutique high-quality racing operation across major racing jurisdictions. Always a keen racing fan, Rajput established Gándharví in his former base of Singapore before expanding it to its now primary bases of the US and Australia.

Michael Wallace
Chief Operating Officer
Established bloodstock agent Michael Wallace heads up the bloodstock operations of Gándharví. Wallace is well-versed in understanding what it takes to select a future multimillion dollar stallion having led the selection process of eventual stallions Justify, Life Is Good, Russian Revolution, In The Congo among many others. The Lexington based Kiwi is responsible for the selection, management and future expansion of Gándharví across the US and Australia.

Adrienne Watts
Bloodstock Executive & Marketing Manager
Adrienne comes to Gándharví from WinStar Farm. She is a first generation Thoroughbred industry professional with a diverse skillset, notably brand development and stallion marketing, yearling selection and a working knowledge of the industry through her experience on the racetrack, in the saddle, and at public auctions. South African born and Lexington based, Adrienne joins the team to launch Gándharví partnerships and continue the expansion of Gándharví.

Case Clay
Bloodstock Consultant
Recently appointed as a Business Consultant to Gándharví, Case Clay brings a wealth of industry experience and contacts to the team. The principal of Case Clay Thoroughbred Management, Clay joined Gándharví to assist with the development of our five-year plan. With his diverse background, which was honed while working for his family at Three Chimneys Farm and even after it was sold to the Torrealba Family as their Chief Commercial Officer, Clay’s specialty will be to focus on building toward the future.

Michael Freedman
Operating from his boutique Randwick base, Michael Freedman has been involved in the success of over 100 Group 1 winners, including winning the Melbourne Cup on five occasions, as well as four consecutive Golden Slipper winners. Since successful international training stints in Singapore and Hong Kong Freedman is responsible for establishing the career of Golden Slipper winning stallion Stay Inside, three-time Group 1 winner and $4.1m mare Forbidden Love as well as group/feature race winners, Tiger Of Malay, Glistening, Queen Of The Ball & Prime Star.

Anthony and Sam Freedman
Mornington based father-son training combination Anthony and Sam Freedman are Gandhari’s preferred Victorian trainers. Anthony is the third eldest of racing's famous Freedman brothers and has too enjoyed considerable success on Australian racetracks. Associated with the training of over 100 Group 1 winners, Anthony has enjoyed 4 Golden Slippers, 4 Caulfield Cups, 5 Melbourne Cups and 2 Cox Plates. Following a successful tenure as Roger Varian’s pupil assistant, Sam Freedman returned home and joined his father in a training partnership at the beginning of the 2020-21 racing season.

Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott
Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott have been in partnership since 2016 from their Randwick base. The story of Tulloch Lodge began in 1941 when TJ Smith, Gai’s father, received his training licence. TJ became the most successful trainer of Group 1 winners in Australia, training a record 282 winners at the highest level, and receiving 33 consecutive trainers’ premierships. In 1992, TJ handed the reins to his daughter Gai, who has since trained 150 Group 1 winners, including seven Golden Slippers. To date, Gai & Adrian have collectively trained 16 Group 1 winners.
